Mineral Insomniac was founded by Carl Ege, licensed Professional Geologist in the State of Utah with a passion for collecting rocks and minerals.
As this hobby grew, so did the desire to share these finds and others sourced from around the world with the general public. After spending time on Ebay in the 2000’s, the Mineral Insomniac shop was officially opened on Etsy in 2017 and has been serving collectors around the world since.
